SUZANNE BARABAS (Artistic Director)

SuzAnne was the co-founder of the Cincinnati Repertory Company and the American Repertory Theater of Philadelphia, and served as the Artistic Director for these companies. She was also Founding Director of Arts Access, an arts program for disabled children and adults at the Matheny School. SuzAnne is the co-author and lyricist of Find Me a Voice, Immortal Interlude and Hyde & Seek. She has directed for various theaters and colleges in New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, as well as New Jersey. For NJ Rep, she directed Find Me a Voice, North Fork, Immortal Interlude, Octet, Till Morning Comes, Maggie Rose, Getting in Touch With My Inner B*tch starring Christine Lavin, The Adjustment, Emil, 10% of Molly Snyder,  Klonsky & Schwartz, and Apostasy.  SuzAnne is a member of AEA, BMI, Dramatists Guild, & SSDC.

GABOR BARABAS (Executive Producer)

Gabor received his BA from NYU and his MD from the University of Cincinnati. He was co-founder of the Cincinnati Repertory Company and the American Repertory Theater of Philadelphia. His poetry has appeared in various literary journals, and his collection of poems, Russian Chronicles, was published by Gray Falcon. He has written several plays including Find Me a Voice, Immortal Interlude and Hyde & Seek. For NJ Rep he has produced the professional premieres of Ends, A World I Never Made, North Fork, Octet, The Girl With the High Rouge, In Search of Red River Dog, Naked by the River, An Unhappy Woman, Immortal Interlude, Getting in Touch With My Inner B*tch, Till Morning Comes, Slave Shack, Panama, Big Boys, Winterizing the Summer House, Piaf in Vienna, The Color of Flesh, Emil, Touch of Rapture, Beyond Gravity,  A Child’s Guide to Innocence, The Good Daughter, Apostasy, The Best Man, Tilt Angel, October 1962, and tempOdyssey as well as productions of On Golden Pond starring Kim Hunter, Memoir starring Salome Jens, Find Me A Voice, Adult Fiction, Harry and Thelma in the Woods, The Play's The Thing, The Dead Boy, Maggie Rose, Raft of the Medusa, The Laramie Project, Best Kept Secret with Katharine Houghton, The Adjustment, Spain, Lemonade, Old Clown Wanted, Whores, The Speed Queen, Don't Hug Me, Circumference of a Squirrel, Ten Percent of Molly Snyder, Tour de Farce, The Women of Lockerbie, Athol Fugard’s Exits and Entrances and Romulus Linney’s Klonsky and Schwartz. In addition, Gabor is the Director of the Long Branch Arts Council and recently received the Louis G. Libutti Community Service Award from the Long Branch Chamber of Commerce for outstanding professional achievement and community service to the City of Long Branch.

JANE E. HUBER (Managing Director)

Janey began her relationship with NJ Rep in 2004 as a patron and quickly became a subscriber:  “They had me at Whores!" Janey brings close to 30 years of administrative experience to her role as Managing Director.  Her most recent previous position was as Operations Director of Algonquin Arts Theatre in Manasquan, NJ.  Janey has also been a Quality Assurance Consultant in health care since 1988, including 18 years at the Reading Birth & Women’s Center in PA and 10 years at the Frontier School of Midwifery in Kentucky.  She served as Chief Financial Officer and then Executive Director of the Institute of Midwifery, Women, & Health, and Clinical Site Coordinator of The Midwifery Institute, both at Philadelphia University.  She also served as the Director of Patient Services for a large Planned Parenthood affiliate in Pennsylvania for 2 years and for 11 years prior to that, worked at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA as a biology professor; serving as Academic Dean during her last 5 years at the college.  Her BA and MS degrees, from East Stroudsburg University, are in aquatic biology.

ROSE RICCARDI (Production Stage Manager)

Rose Riccardi is the Resident Equity Stage Manager at NJ Rep. She was the stage manager for A World I Never Made, On Golden Pond, Find Me A Voice, Memoir, The Play's the Thing, Adult Fiction, Octet, The Girl with the High Rouge, In Search of Red River Dog, Piaf In Vienna, and assisted on North Fork. Rose is a graduate of Seton Hall University with a B.A. in Communications. In addition to her work at NJ Rep, she is the Set Designer for High Point Regional High School in Sussex.
